Globally, WEC projects are incorporated and managed in alignment with the economic, social, and cultural development provisions and protocols governing the international community, continents, and countries of its operation. This includes provisions enacted by the United Nations, African Union (e.g. Africa Continental Free Trade Area), regional bodies, and national constitutions and laws. In that context, protocols such as the UN Strategic Development Goals, Africa’s Agenda 2063, and national development visions are critical. WEC is also building various collaboration agreements with public sectors, business groups, and investment and development authorities.
